"Hmph... I've gotta say. I don't mind drinking with you like this, Prince." "This guy and I have been through all sorts of battles together, but they were all intense in their own way..." Abel mumbles while petting the dragon at his side. He tells you the dragon has been his partner for many years. "We've been together for a long time. But thanks to the monsters, the number of dragons is decreasing." "I work with dragons, so it's my responsibility to protect 'em. They've saved my life on many an occasion." "Actually, they're probably always saving me," Abel adds, dry laughter bursting from his lips. You say you'll do your best to help as prince of this kingdom, and Abel's lips curl into a smile. "...Then I'll do the same. I'll serve you in any way I can and lead this kingdom to a peaceful future." Abel declares, a look of determination in his eyes. You fill Abel's glass with drink and tell him you look forward to working with him.

"This guy? Well... He's been with me ever since I was a kid, as long I can remember." "He was injured when we first met. I brought him home with me and took care of him." Abel says that, nowadays, the dragon is his trusted partner, and petting his buddy on the head, Abel smiles. You thought Abel was uptight and stern at first, but he opened to you over the course of conversations like these. You've been drinking together after battles and discussing the monsters movements often lately. "The monsters have gotten active again lately. They'll get the jump on us if we're not careful." Abel whispers, his expression serious. He puts his glass down and looks at you. "If they get you that easily, though, you're not much of a man. I've gotta wonder how the Prince I serve will fare." The corners of your mouth curl upwards at his question. You say, "I've got the protection of a dragon. Pretty sure I'll be fine." and Abel pauses for a moment before bursting out into laughter. "You've got a point there. You won't be taken down easily." You smile at each other and take another swig of your drinks.
