Garrett #1 :
"I'd like to just go to my room and rest." Speaking bluntly from the moment you meet, Garrett nonetheless sits down and rests his chin on his hands. When you ask him to have a drink with you, he looks reluctant for a moment, but then takes his glass in hand, apparently willing to join. "I'm not going to stay long, but I'll join you for a little while." You let out a smirk at the forced rebelliousness of Garrett's words. It certainly seems like a lot of the fighters under you have an attitude. But they follow your lead and give their all, so you're confident in them. "Our fighters are getting stronger, but the enemy is growing stronger just the same. But when the monsters are upon us, my role never changes. When the enemies comes, I crush them. And that's it." Garrett sighs and wrinkles his brow. It's true that the battles have increased lately. Though you have more members than before, the monsters' attacks show no sign of abating. "Still, if there's time to drink like this even for a while, things must be getting better, eh? That's the feeling I get, anyway. But maybe that's not for a fighting fool like me to say." This is probably his attempt at being encouraging. You smile wryly at his clumsy words. Garrett himself seems encouraged by them, and his scowling face relaxes a bit.

Garrett #2 :
"Why do I fight? You keep catching me with sudden questions." You ask Garrett the question offhandedly when he agrees to join you for a drink. "I would't call it patriotism but, maybe because I was born and raised in this country, I have an attachment to it. And guys like me are suited to combat. I don't like doing a lot of thinking. A soldier topples the enemy. That's a goal that's clear and easy to understand." His unhesitating answer reminds you of him on the battlefield, a brave beast barreling over the enemy on pure instinct. "I'm no good at exhibiting allegiance and parading patriotism. But for this country I'm going to do whatever I can." Garrett lets a smile escape his lips. He speaks clearly, the strength of his gaze never wavering. "With this power of mine I'll clear the path before you." With confidence he makes his declaration. You listen and acknowledge his dependability with a nod.
