A young hunter who lived in one of the southern countries that were blessed with abundant nature. But the forests were wrecked by demons, and when Stray fell in with the kingdom, he took the chance to become an archer and join the fight. He dons his hometown's traditional garbs, and adorns his head with the silver feathers of a southern bird-of-passage, both so that he will never lose his focus. At heart, he is compassionate, and not of a nature suited to battle.

All-Age Conversation Scenes[]
Scene #1
"These feathers? Come to think of it, I never told you about them."
When you ask about the feathers adorning his head, Stray removes them and shows them to you. They catch the light and seem to gleam in silver.
"Pretty, eh? They are from a bird that inhabits my hometown. It can only live where there is clean water - evidence of a good harvest."
You are reminded of the time Stray first joined you. You sensed a sort of tenacity, a kind of deep determination.
"The fighting started, and the birds disappeared. Because of the monsters, the good harvests that autumn had brought turned foul..."
Stray clenches his fist and shuts his eyes tightly. The images playing out behind those eyelids right now are surely not pleasant ones.
When his eyes finally open, Stray peers out the window. Beyond the window lies the forest.
"I want to return nature to my birthplace."
He isn't so much speaking to you as to himself. Those determination-filled words, you think, apply to this country as well.
Scene #2
"What? A bird with these feathers?"
Stray is surprised when you tell him you saw a bird with those feathers outside the window this morning.
The bird's feathers, bathed in sunlight, gleamed silver just as they did in the moonlight, so you believe this was the same bird that Stray had spoken of.
"So you really did see one. I guess that means that they are able to fly a bit more freely once again."
Stray grins joyfully and lets out a heavy sigh.
"My Prince, at the outset you told me that you would save my hometown as well."
Stray takes his feathers in hand, and extends one to you.
"If so, then for the sake of my hometown, I will shoot down your enemies for this country. This, I swear upon this feather."
Stray looks you in the eyes as he speaks, and you respond with a nod. And at the same time, you accept anew your destiny to defend this country.
If those birds finally return to his birthplace, that surely means that peace has returned to this country.
